Springboks lose semi finals against All Blacks

Unfortunately the Springboks lost their semi-final game by 20-18 against New Zealand over the weekend. The South African coach Heyneke Meyer said his team’s inability to adapt to the rainy conditions in the second half of their Rugby World Cup semi-final cost them dearly.

The Springboks were unable to cross the try line and all their points came via penalty goals. Handre Pollard five and Pat Lambie one.

The South Africans were in front by 12-7 at the half time.

The Springboks played well but unfortunately New Zealand were just a little bit better on the day.
