Father Gunned Down

Father Gunned Down: A 38-year-old father of three children – two boys and a girl – was brutally gunned down in Rhodesfield in what is believed to have been a hijacking. Tebogo Madisha of Terenure, who was employed by Absa on Central Avenue, was found lying in the middle of the road. He was visiting friends in Rhodesfield at the time of the incident. He was shot as he left to go home. Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, said the incident took place on Mars Street shortly before 9pm. “Kempton Park detectives are investigating a case of murder and car hijacking,” he added. Patson Mayo commented on social media that the incident happened in front of his house.

“I held the guy’s hand and spoke to him while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Unfortunately he didn’t make it and we are all shaken to say the least. I lost faith in humanity last night,” he said. Gideon Greyling posted: “Right on my doorstep, not far from me. The area is becoming more and more dangerous. I have been living in Kempton for over 30 years. This place is getting worse by the day. We need national intervention to stop this nonsense.” Anyone with information can contact the investigating officer, Lt Col Matome Masha, on 082-778-7606, call 086-001-0111 or SMS the crime line on 32211.
