Crystal Gate Shopping Centre ATM Bombed: On the 11th of July an ATM situated at the Crystal Gate Shopping Centre in Totius Road, Crystal Park was bombed. Shortly after 11pm at night, five armed men arrived at the complex and held the security guard at gunpoint. Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson Tryna Maritz said they bombed the ATM, but the safe didn’t open. “They then drove off without the money,” she added. No injuries were reported and there was no damages to the Spar. A case of ATM bombing was opened at the Crystal Park Police Station and police are still investigating the matter further if anyone has any information please contact the SAPS your assistance is greatly appreciated in this matter. The criminals are still at large.
